If you are a beginner you will be taught how to use the vehicle controls correctly.

These include:

Steering, gears and clutch (manual)
Braking and accelerating smoothly

Also covered in detail are:

The parallel park and 3 point turn exercises
Correct roundabout procedure including the proper use of signals as stated in the Road code.
Lane changes and lane control
Using flush medians
Traffic light intersections

You will also be taught the system of vehicle control which includes the correct use of:-

Observation
Signal use
Speed control
Positioning
Following distance
Gap selection

You will be taught how to keep yourself and other road users safe by way of:

Hazard perception skills
Defensive driving techniques
Knowledge of road user regulations and the road code.

When you have mastered these tasks then you will be ready to take the test. With our excellent first time pass rate and knowledge of exactly what the Testing Officers are looking for, you will be equipped to pass the test first time.
