Pass rates

What is a pass rate?

Pass rates are the number of passes (as a percentage) that a driving school accumulates when pupils using that school for lessons then take their test. This would vary from school to school and driving instructor to driving instructor. Usually a student fails the test because they simply are not ready!

Howick Driving School prides itself on having very high pass rates. This means that most students who take their driving test and who have had lessons with us tend to pass at the first or second attempt. This saves students money in the long run.

How is this achieved?

  •  All topics are covered in precise detail and practiced thoroughly so that they become second nature.
  •  We know exactly what the Testing Officers are looking for and so can tailor the lessons to get the best possible  results.
  •  We give mock tests which accurately assess whether a student is ready for the real test. Any errors need to be  corrected before taking the actual test.
  •  Getting the pupil to relax for the test is half the battle. An over anxious student is unlikely to perform as well.
